Mike Apps

Mike Apps is an expert on climate change and forest dynamics.  He recently retired from 25 years as a Senior Scientist for the Canadian Forest Service in Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. At the time of his 2001 lecture, Dr. Apps was working for the Canadian Forest Service and already renowned for his work on forests and carbon budgets. Dr. Apps led the creation of a Carbon Budget Model for Canada and has been involved with numerous international organizations and programs including the International Geosphere-Biosphere program.
